The Buy Back SA Campaign launch will include the unveiling of a series of advertisements which will be flighted on national television networks in support of localisation and the manufacturing sector. The first phase of the advertisements are hosted by the first national champion, John Kani, who will also be in attendance along with senior representatives of industry.
The Buy Back SA Campaign is part of government’s broader strategy of strengthening and diversifying SA’s industrial base and to build up competitive value-adding exports onto the rest of the continent, high growth developing economies and traditional export markets.
The launch will be attended by the representatives of the Manufacturing Circle who are the main driver and sponsor of the campaign, industry and the CEO of Proudly South Africa Mr Leslie Sedibe.
