Minister Carlisle to encourage motorists to buckle up as part of ongoing awareness campaign

Two weeks ago, Minister of Transport and Public Works Robin Carlisle, launched the Safely Home “It Takes A Second To Save A Life” Campaign. The campaign is a multi-media campaign aimed at increasing awareness around the very dire need for more seat-belt compliance amongst road users in the Western Cape.

Tomorrow morning, Minister Carlisle, as part of the campaign, will be at one of Cape Town’s busiest intersections encouraging motorists and other vehicle occupants to “Buckle Up!”

All media are invited to attend and asked to indicate if they will be attending.
