The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Prof Blade Nzimande, will meet the families of the two UJ students, who were caught in the cross fire of a shooting incident, in Braamfontein (Johannesburg), on 29 February, 2024.
The Minister will also use this opportunity to meet the University leadership to discuss support for the affected families and the students.
At the end of the meeting with the families, the Minister will address the media on this incident and related issues of student safety.
