Mineral Resources Minister, Ms Susan Shabangu will handover houses to family members of mine workers employed by Sibanye Gold’s Libanon mine in Westonaria.
Sibanye Gold’s accommodation project is consistent with provisions of the Mining Charter in terms of Sec 100 of the MPRDA which compels mining companies to provide mineworkers with decent accommodation options that will amongst other things keep families together and promote home ownership.
