In an effort to deliver better services to psychiatric patients as well as raise awareness of mental illness, Tara Hospital in partnership with Nelson Mandela Foundation and Hands Across SA will tomorrow, 20 November, host a dialogue to share knowledge.
Under the theme, Mental Health and Stigma: When life throws you a curveball, the dialogue will focus on the issue of Adult Mental Health which is seriously misunderstood by individuals, families and the community at large.
The facilitator will be radio personality, Gareth Cliff and the speakers include Prof Jonathan Jansen, Sheri Brynard, Nicolene Holtzhausen and Dr Mashadi Motlana.
