The Limpopo Provincial government and the Minister of the Department for Women, children and People with Disabilities, Lulu Xingwana will celebrate and commemorate the International day for Older persons and a prayer day .This is in line with the International day for older persons focus week, 29 Sept to 6 Oct 2013. An interdenominational prayer day is scheduled to take place along with the celebrations.
The provincial theme for the event is “Longevity- the future in line with the National Theme is “The Future we want..., What Older persons are saying”.
