MECs joins community to refurbish a creche - Mandela Day focus activity

The Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development (GPDID) MEC Honourable Nandi Mayathula-Khoza, will tomorrow, Friday join the community of Etwatwa to refurbish a local community school.

The MEC will join the restoration and repairs programme of the centre. Repair work will  include plumbing, painting, and plastering. The other maintenance work be  on windows, roof leaks, ceiling and electric plugs.

The Thembelihle School is home for the Tiny Tots Child and Community
Development Centre. It is esblished to address various community development initiatives including early childhood development for toddlers, youth programmes and care for the elderly. 

The school is run by volunteers and the Mandela Day Programme is done by the school and community of Etwatwa Extension 3 together with the GPDID.
