In an effort to ensure that teaching and learning begins on time in schools next year, the KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Arts, Culture, Sport and Recreation, Ntombikayise Sibhidla-Saphetha will be handing over textbooks in schools located in the Ilembe District, north of Durban tomorrow.
Since education remains the government’s priority, the KwaZulu-Natal Cabinet took a decision to ensure the state of readiness for the re-opening of schools in 2015 before the end of this year.
The textbooks will be delivered as follows:
