The Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Ms Molebatsi Bopape will interact with the community of Daveyton in Ekurhuleni, to share with them the government's plans and priorities following the tabling of the 2015 State of the Province Address.
Ekurhuleni is one of Gauteng Cities to benefit from the provincial Transformation, Modernisation and Re-industrialisation programme. The city will be home to the Aerotropolis initiative which will see the economy of the area anchored on manufacturing, logistics and transport.
Other initiatives include the creation of new human settlements across the city.
