MEC Mhaule to visit Khayalami secondary School on the first day of the writing of grade 12 examinations

The MEC for Education, Mrs Reginah Mhaule, will on Monday, 27 October 2014 at 07h00, visit Khayalami Secondary School, in Belfast at Emakhazeni Local Municipality to witness the starting in full scale of the 2014 Grade 12 examinations.

Khayalami Secondary School obtained 64.4% in 2013 grade 12 results an improvement from 51% which the school obtained in 2012.

The MEC for Education continues to expresses her best wishes to all learners who are going to write their final examinations:

“As we approach the final stages of your school journey, it is important that you apply even greater effort to grasp as much information in class and during your study sessions as possible. Its time you reap the fruits of your studious labour and with that said, I wish all candidates the best for their 2014 Grade 12 examinations’’, she said. 

The examination will run until 28 November 2014. Marking will commence on 1 to 13 December 2014 in 18 centres. The results will be announced on 06 January 2015.
