MEC Mbali Hlophe engages communities of Ratanda on State of the Province Address, 26 Feb 

The Gauteng Provincial Government will hold a public meeting at Ratanda Multipurpose Hall, Ratanda on 26 February 2020. Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Mbali Hlophe will engage the community on issues raised at the State of the Province Address (SOPA) by Premier Makhura scheduled for Tuesday, 25 February 2020. 

Building social cohesion. Growing an inclusive economy that creates jobs. Delivering quality education that equips children with skills for the future. Improving the public healthcare system. Building of sustainable human settlement and spatial transformation. Strengthening the fight against crime, corruption and promoting integrity. Building a reliable, safe and affordable integrated public transport system are some of the critical issues that will be addressed by the Premier at SOPA. 

The programme will also include sports and recreation activities aligned to the Hayani Wellness programme recently launched by the MEC, together with arts and culture activities.
