In its bid to enhance young farmers’ capacity to run their farms as efficient businesses, the North West Department of Rural, Environmental and Agricultural Development has in collaboration with various agricultural institutions, organised Youth Farmers’ Information Days which will be held at various districts.

Targeting young farmers who are already in the farming industry and those aspiring to be part of agriculture, the sessions will primarily focus on modern crop and livestock production practices.

Partners involved in organising these Youth Farmers’ days include amongst others, Omnia, Monsanto, Michigan Equipment, Pannar, Noord Wes Korporasie, Suid-Wes, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Verbac Pharmaceuticals, Opti feeds, Prosim study group, youth organisations and the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform.
