North West Province to launch Female Condom
The North West Health MEC Madoda Sambatha will be joined by other leaders of government, civil society and other sectors when he officially launches a female condom on Thursday in Madibeng, Brits.
Female condoms help to protect both partners from Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), including HIV. When used correctly, they are a reliable method of preventing pregnancy. It is a form of contraception one needs to only use when having sex.
The Department provides a wide range of contraceptives which include male and female condoms, the pill, injectables, intrauterine devices and sub-dermal implants.
