DESTEA and its strategic partner’s fast track service delivery
The Department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs under the leadership of MEC Limakatso Mahasa will visit Kopanong Local Municipality on a roadshow on 28 June 2018 to engage with local SMMEs and Youth.
Under the theme “Tsebo e Matla”, the topics that will be covered during the roadshow include DESTEA intervention plans, product and service offerings and the technical assistance.
The roadshow will not just be a talk show as strategic partners like NYDA, IEC, NEF, SEFA, DOL, Home Affairs and SARS will be present to provide relevant on-site services to the local SMME’s and general public.
The engagements are a continuation of MEC’s service delivery programme which started in 2017/18 financial year. This year, the department goes back with better understanding and responsive measures put in place based on last year’s experience.
