MEC Miga and Mayor of Mahikeng engage with Extension 39, Mahikeng residents
As part of a build up programme towards the post-Sona Presidential Imbizo, which will be held in Mahikeng on 12 March 2022, the MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlement and Traditional Affairs Lenah Miga will embark on a community engagement session at Extension 39 in Mahikeng. MEC Miga will be accompanied by the Executive Mayor of Mahikeng, Cllr Tshepiso Mphehlo.
The programme is aimed at advancing and solidifying the District Development Model. The model seeks to address service delivery challenges confronting communities with all three spheres of government working in an integrated manner to find lasting solutions to these challenges. Members of the community will be afforded an opportunity to engage with officials on how these challenges can be resolved.
