The campaign, conducted jointly with law enforcement agencies, faith-based organisations, taxi industry and local government, will focus on road safety interventions that seek to encourage motorists to adhere to road rules including the wearing of seatbelts, resting during long trips to lessen driver fatigue as well as the checking of vehicles for overloading and roadworthiness.
This is in anticipation of increased traffic volumes over the Easter weekend as road users make their way to various destinations.
Details of the session are as follows:
Date: Thursday, 14 April 2022
