MEC for Human Settlements, Safety and Liaison, Helen Sauls-August to hand over school library in Zintonga Village, Port St Johns

MEC for Human Settlements, Safety and Liaison, Helen Sauls-August will hand over a much needed school library to Zintonga Junior Secondary School in Port St Johns. The school library, built in a village will provide rural school pupils with a resource to improve their learning.

The handover forms part of the Joe Slovo Month, which includes handover of houses, social amenities and visits to schools to motivate matric learners ahead of the final examinations throughout the province. The fully equipped library was sponsored as part of the 2013 Women’s Build Programme also held in PSJ during women’s month.
