MEC Helen Sauls-August joins Education Portfolio Committee on schools visits in Nelson Mandela Metro, 18 to 19 Jan

In an effort to ascertain schools state of readiness for the academic year 2018, MEC for Human Settlements Ms Helen Sauls-August will join the Provincial Legislature Education Portfolio Committee visit to schools in the Nelson Mandela Metro from Thursday until Friday, 19^th of January 2018.

The Back to school Campaign is a national programme that seeks to support the return of leaners and teachers to school after major school vacations. The Eastern Cape Province has always been part of the programe where during the opening of schools, leadership at various spheres of government would visit schools to monitor the opening and beginning of the schooling on the first day.The school visits will be held as follows:
