MEC Donald Grant attends free vehicle inspections for public transport vehicles, 12 Dec

Western Cape MEC of Transport and Public Works, Donald Grant, will be at Joe Gqabi Transport Interchange, to tour the free vehicle inspections for public transport vehicles as part of the “Public Transport Sticker Project”.

The sticker project is a joint venture between the City of Cape Town, and the Department of Transport and Public Works, and is carried out during the busy “Exodus” periods of the year (Easter and Festive Season) when many public transport vehicles will be transporting passengers to their various holiday destinations.

MEC Grant will be joined by City and Provincial Traffic officials at the vehicle checks, and will provide further details on the sticker project. Media are invited and welcome to attend. There will be opportunity for photographs and interviews. Please indicate via email if you will be in attendance.
