Tomorrow, Friday 8 August 2014, Western Cape MEC of Community Safety, Dan Plato, will launch the Department of Community Safety’s Women’s Month events in Moorreesburg.
During the month of August, MEC Plato will be visiting different communities throughout the province to honour women from the different areas, to highlight women’s safety and to pledge men’s responsibilities in the fight against violence against women.
MEC Plato will be visiting the towns of Moorreesburg and Velddrif tomorrow, ahead of National Women’s Day on Saturday, 9 August 2014.
There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
