KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Finance, Mrs Belinda Scott, invites Journalists to join her on Thursday (05 April 2018) when she visits eDumbe Municipality to engage with local residents on the Provincial Budget.
MEC Scott and the eDumbe Municipality Mayor, Siyabonga Majuba Mavuso, will be at Ward 8 in the area to explain the 2018/19 Provincial Budget and also engage with local residents on their needs. The MEC is mandated by the Constitution to engage with the public on the budget.
On Thursday morning, MEC Scott will be at Siphakama Crèche to donate teaching and learning resources, including furniture and stationery. The MEC will also donate sewing machines to a local women’s co-operative to assist residents to create employment opportunities and uplift local economy.
