KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Finance, who is also uMgungundlovu District Champion under Operation Sukuma Sakhe, will officially launch the district Transport Month campaign in uMngeni Local municipality tomorrow.
The KZN provincial 2017 October Transport Month (OTM) campaign was launched last week and the MEC will take the campaign to the district tomorrow to ensure that Road Safety messages cascade down to the district.
The campaign will focus on service delivery on road infrastructure, safety of motorists and other road users through road safety education and awareness activations, as well as community engagements.
Members of the media are invited to join MEC Scott, KZN Department of Transport and other district stakeholders during the launch.
