Tomorrow, the Western Cape MEC of Social Development will join international Legends of Kung Fu Champion and radio personality, MJ Li, at a fundraising gala dinner.
The fundraising gala dinner is in aide of the Hong Kong Kung Fu Youth Squad, which is the first ever group of disadvantaged young people from South Africa that will head to Hong Kong to participate in the International Kung Fu Tournament in Kowloon.
Youth development is a major focus area of the department. The MECwill address the evening, and will make a contribution towards the initiative.
There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs.
