Today, MEC Albert Fritz will deliver an address in support of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Funds Western Cape and Northern Cape Learning and Sharing Platform. The event is held under the theme of fostering “Community Efforts to Protect Children”.
The platform will see experts in the field of children’s rights convening to share best practices from their experiences working in communities.
The Department of Social Development is playing its role in helping create a self-reliant society capable of providing a safe and enabling environment for our children. With the period of 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children well underway, every citizen has to play their part in protecting children.
There will be an opportunity for photos and interviews.
