Limpopo Provincial Government in partnership with National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) and South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) Limpopo invites members of the media to the Youth Empowerment Business Expo and the launch of the 2015 Youth Month Programme. This year, 2015 marks 39 years anniversary of the 16 June 1976 Soweto uprisings.
This year’s Youth Month activities are held under the theme “Youth Moving South Africa Forward”. The launch of youth month will be addressed by Limpopo Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha, NYDA CEO Khathu Ramukumba and SABC Limpopo Acting Provincial General Manager James Shikwambana.
Youth who aspires to venture in business and those already in business are encouraged to attend because they will get the necessary tools to be empowered. The following institutions will be available to empower the youth with knowledge on businesses: Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), South African Revenue Service (SARS), NYDA, SABC Radio Sales and Marketing.
