Limpopo Provincial Government hosts Exco Lekgotla 2020
The Limpopo Provincial Government will host EXCO Lekgotla on the 19th February 2020 at The Ranch Resort, Polokwane Municipality, Capricorn District. The Premier of the Province, Mr Chupu Stanley Mathabatha will deliver the opening address at the EXCO Lekgotla. The Lekgotla is a high level strategic meeting where critical fiscal issues impacting service delivery are deliberated upon. It is attended by all Members of the Executive Council (MECs), Executive Mayors, and Director-General of Limpopo Provincial Government, Heads of Departments, Heads of State-Owned Entities and their board chairpersons as well as technical support staff.
The focus will be on to assess progress on the implementation of planned programmes and projects during the 2019/20 financial year, to review expenditure trends to date and the budget adjustments as implemented following the November 2019 Budget Lekgotla and to interrogate and approve the planned programmes and projects for 2020/21. Moreover, National Water Strategy and its Implications for Limpopo comprehensive and update on the Limpopo Industrialisation Agenda.
