The Acting Premier of Limpopo, Mr Kgolane Phala will bid farewell to Limpopo's 150 older persons who are going to Mpumalanga Province for the 2014 National Golden Games. The Acting Premier will treat them to a send off breakfast and wish them luck.
The Golden Games are played by male and female elderly citizens and this forms part of government efforts towards healthy ageing. The games are led by Sport and Recreation South Africa (SRSA), and supported by national and provincial departments responsible for social development and health, as well as the provincial department responsible for sport and recreation. The Golden Games will be held at Mbombela stadium from the 27-30 October 2014.
