Provincial Treasury will tomorrow join Mkhambathini Municipality in the delivery and provision of three Early Child hood Development (ECD) centres to the tune of R9 million.
The state-of-the-art centres are not only billed as safe facilities but are very stimulating for the little ones.
KZN Treasury officials from the office of District Political Champion and Finance MEC Belinda Scott and Social Development district officials will join Mkhambathini Municipality Mayor, Cllr Eric Ngcongo when he officially open the three crèche’s in Ward 4 area of KwaNjobokazi, Ward 7’s Gulube and Ward 2’s Ediphini.
These centres are the first of a kind for Mkhambathini. They provide an internal playground that maximises the security of the children, well-furnished kitchens and sick bays and age appropriate ablution facilities have been factored in, in the current structure.
KZN Treasury will donate auxiliary amenities to the three crèches to help with their optimal functionality.
