A provincial Arts, Culture and Heritage Strategy workshop is set to take place at the Public Service Training Academy in Durban on the 9th and 10th of April 2015.
The session comes after hearings which were held in each district to allow community members to participate in the compiling of the proposed policy. The draft strategy will impact the arts sector over the next five to ten years.
KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Department of Arts and Culture MEC Ntombikayise Sibhidla-Saphetha, along with industry stakeholders including representatives from the Federation of Community Art Centres and the KZN Fashion Council, will be in attendance.
