In its effort to honour excellence, the Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation will launch the 2014 School Sport Awards on the 10th of December 2014.
Held under the theme Today’s Stars, Tommorow’s Champions, the awards are used to promote, reward and celebrate excellence in school sports in Gauteng.
The Awards were reintroduced in 2013 and have become an important feature in the school sport calendar and highly regarded by school and the sporting fraternities.
Nomination for the School Sport Awards will be open until 23rd January 2015 with the announcement of finalists on 20th February 2015.
