Gauteng Provincial Legislature adopts cerebral palsy care-giving centre, 21 Aug

The Gauteng Provincial Legislature (GPL) Speaker, Honourable Ntombi Mekgwe, will tomorrow lead a delegation to formalise the adoption of a cerebral palsy care giving centre in Springs.

As part of its initiatives for honouring Women’s Month and engaging with the communities of Gauteng, GPL is focusing on addressing the needs of cerebral palsy sufferers and has undertaken to officially adopt the Vita Nova Centre.

The GPL delegation will adopt the Centre as follows:
Date and Time: Friday 21 August 2015  at 13h30
Address: The Vita Nova Centre, 2 Fish Eagle Road, Daggafontein, Springs

GPL initially visited the Vita Nova Centre as part of the 67 minutes for Mandela nationwide campaign, and donated food items; bedding; and other much-needed amenities. Touched by the work that the Centre does to take care of those unable to take care of themselves, coupled with the facility’s dire need for support in order to provide the best possible care for its patients, GPL has resolved to adopt the Centre as part of its ongoing social responsibility programme.
