Gauteng Premier, Nomvula Mokonyane, will tomorrow 20 November 2013, launch the Savanna City Mixed Income Housing Development, in the north-west of Meyerton. The project will comprise of more than 18 000 mixed housing structures which includes RDP, bonded and Finance Linked Individual Subsidy (FLISP) houses.
At least 6400 RDP houses will be built for the beneficiaries from the informal settlements on the western part of Midvaal and south of Johannesburg. Construction of 494 houses (first phase) will commence in April 2014.
