The Deputy Minister of Transport, Honourable Sindisiwe Chikunga and Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyana will, on Monday, 14 October 2013 officially launch Phase 1B of the Rea Vaya Bus Rapid Transit services.
During the official launch, the Rea Vaya BRT will introduce 134 new buses and 12 more routes in line with the City’s commitment to improve the lives of Gauteng communities through infrastructure development.
The project will enhance the City’s spatial vision of Corridors of Freedom whilst providing a safe, affordable and reliable transport system.
