Dr Peter Magubane’s special provincial funeral to be held at Bryanston Methodist Church
The Special Provincial Official Funeral of legendary photojournalist and anti-apartheid activist, Dr Peter Magubane will take place on Wednesday, 10 January 2023, at Bryanston Methodist Church in Gauteng.
This follows President Cyril Ramaphosa’s decision to grant Dr Magubane a Special Provincial Official Funeral Category Two in recognition of his immense contribution to society.
Dr Magubane died last week at the age of 91. His will memorial service will be held today, Monday, 08 January 2024, at Regina Mundi Catholic Church in Soweto, at 2:00 pm.
