Gauteng Department of Human Settlements will hold the annual provincial Govan Mbeki Awards today, at Silverstar Casino in Krugersdorp.
The awards were named after Govan Mbeki based on the role he played and vision he had for the preservation of human dignity and provision of human settlements for all.
The purpose of the Govan Mbeki Awards is to promote and instill a culture of excellence within the Human Settlement sector in the delivery of quality Human Settlements and dignity to South Africans.
MEC Jacob Mamabolo will give a key note address on the day.
