The Gauteng Department of Health will tomorrow, 29 May 2015 launch the Child Friendly Assessment Room at Jubilee Hospital in Tshwane.
The launch forms part of the Child Protection Week which is observed every year to create awareness about services available for children who are victims of crime and also highlight the importance of creating safer communities. This year’s theme is Working together to protect children.
The child friendly room has a one way mirror that allows all stakeholders dealing with abused children to witness the counselling sessions without being in the same room.
