Reconciliation Interfaith Prayer and Human Peace Chain Event Takes Place at Freedom Park on 5 December 2017
Freedom Park will today Tuesday 5 December 2017, remember Madiba’s legacy of peace and nation building, by hosting a Reconciliation Interfaith Prayer and human Chain event. The objective of the event is to encourage individuals and communities to take responsibility for peace and unity.
More than 1000 participants from Civic organisations, Youth Groups, Interfaith groups, neighbouring communities and many other stakeholders are expected to join the human peace chain. The event is themed:” Count On Me, together moving a non-violent South Africa forward.”
