The bike ride will commence at Freedom Park and end at Prinschurch Building in Pretoria CBD. More than 150 bikers and about 20 bloggers are expected to take part.

“Freedom Park is honoured to be part of this youth initiative that seeks to promote an eco-friendly environment and healthy lifestyles for our people”, says the Acting CEO of Freedom Park Ms Jane Mufamadi.

The project will promote scenic cycling routes in Pretoria by encouraging communities to use non-motorised transport in Tshwane and showcase the beautiful buildings and spaces in the inner city during transport month. The Freedom Ride is open to the public. It is an easy 5 km downhill ride to Just Chillin’ Sessions at the Prinschurch building on Sisulu Street in the inner City. The ride is free of charge including refreshments and free bicycle rentals for the first 50 participants who want to take part but do not have bicycles.
