The finalists in the inaugural “SA Premier Business Awards” – the country’s top business awards – have been announced this morning, 18 March 2013.
Hosted by the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti), Proudly South African and Brand South Africa, the Awards recognise business excellence and honour enterprises which promote the spirit of quality and innovation – as well as job creation, and good business ethics.
Top business leaders, captains of industry and senior government ministers and officials will attend the Awards which take place on Wednesday, 20 March 2013, at the Sandton Convention Centre in Gauteng.
The top Award for the evening, a “Lifetime Achievement Award”, will be announced by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies, on the evening. The Minister will also deliver the keynote address.
The finalists and winners were chosen by a specialist panel of judges. The judges represent business, government, organised labour and community constituencies. The finalists were drawn from a list of enterprises that responded to the call for nominations.
