The Portfolio Committee on Energy will tomorrow, 31 July go on an oversight visit to the iShack Project at Enkanini informal settlements in Stellenbosch and the Sustainability Institute.
The Committee will also visit various integrated national electricity programme projects in the Western Cape. On Thursday, 1 August the Committee will continue its oversight duties by embarking on a study tour to sites of liquid petroleum gas. The Committee will observe industrial, commercial sites and domestic households in Cape Town. The last project that the Committee will visit is SABMiller waste-to-energy project in Newlands.
