The Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature is hosting a Religious Parliament to provide a platform for public participation in parliamentary processes. Representatives from faith-based organisations within the province shall converge at the Raymond Mhlaba Chamber, for the 3rd Religious Parliament.
The forthcoming Sectoral parliament seeks to promote inter-faith organisations interaction with the elected public representatives on issues affecting the sector, under the theme: “Public Participation on policy processes and investment of spiritual and physical assets of Religious Communities in fighting poverty, unemployment and inequality based on shared values and principles”.
