Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will tomorrow, 15 December 2014, deliver the "Building the legacy Memorial Lecture” in honour of the late President Nelson Mandela at the Nelson Mandela Foundation at 19h30.
The Deputy President's Memorial Lecture is part of the Nelson Mandela Foundation's planned activities and initiatives spread between 4 and 15 December 2014 to call on all South Africans and the world, to keep the legacy of the late President alive by living his values and continuing with efforts aimed at ensuring that all humanity lives in a society where peace, tolerance, the rule of law, justice, equality and human rights are upheld.
"The aim of the Foundation is to contribute to the making of a just society by utilising the legacy of Nelson Mandela as a vital instrument for sharing memory, for growing it, and for engaging it in the pursuit of social cohesion,” said the Foundation.
