Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Sunday, 16 November 2014, attend the Youth Development Imbizo at the Itsoseng Stadium near Lichtenburg, North West province.
Deputy President Ramaphosa will be joined by Deputy Ministers Buti Manamela, Mduduzi Manana, Ministers Bathabile Dlamini, Ebrahim Patel, Lindiwe Zulu and Gugile Nkwinti
The Youth Development Expo is a public participation outreach programme which aims at responding to challenges of youth unemployment in South Africa.
During this youth-focused Imbizo, Deputy President Ramaphosa will meet with young people, to discuss among others, issues of selfemployment, accessing training and healthy living life style.
Various stakeholders from the private sector will be present to provide and empower the youth with information that encourages them to become entrepreneurs.
The department of Health is expected to conduct the HIV Counselling and Testing (HCT) campaign and provide other health services.
