Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa addresses Youth Development Expo and Waterkloof Repatriation Ceremony, 16 Nov

Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will today Sunday, 16 November 2014, attend and address the Youth Development Expo at the Itsoseng Stadium in Lichtenburg, North West Province.

The Youth Development Expo is a public participation outreach programme which aims at responding to challenges of youth-unemployment in South Africa.

During this youth-focused Imbizo, Deputy President Ramaphosa will meet with young people, to discuss among others, issues of self-employment, accessing training and healthy living life style.

Deputy President Ramaphosa will be joined by various stakeholders, who will be present to provide and empower the youth with information that encourages them to become entrepreneurs.

The department of Health is expected to conduct the HIV Counseling and Testing (HCT) campaign and provide other health services.

Waterkloof repatriation ceremony

Upon return from the North West province, Deputy President Ramaphosa will address the repatriation ceremony in honour of those South Africans who lost their lives in Lagos Nigeria, which will take place at the Waterkloof Airforce Base in Pretoria later on Sunday, 16 November 2014. The government takes this opportunity to reiterate its heartfelt condolences to members of the bereaved families, friends and colleagues.
