Water and Environmental Affairs Deputy Minister Rejoice Mabudafhasi to engage the Rapotokwane Community on water conservation issues in Bela Bela, Limpopo

Mme Rejoice Mabudafhasi, MP, the Deputy Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs, will engage the Rapotokwane community on water conservation issues on Tuesday, 18 March 2014, in Rapotokwane village, Bela Bela Local Municipality, Limpopo. The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr Ebrahim Ismail Ebrahim will join Mabudafhasi at Rapotokwane village.

This visit forms part of the National Water Week which will be celebrated from 17 to 23 March 2014, under the theme “Celebrating 20 years of Water Delivery for Social and Economic Development”.

The Rapotokwane community had always experienced water supply challenges. The integral part of this visit will be the official opening of the boreholes that have been rehabilitated as part of augmentation and water shortage intervention.
