The Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation, Pamela Tshwete, will meet with the Japanese State Minister for Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Akihiro Nishimura tomorrow, 30 September 2015.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss amongst others, the establishment of a training academy in South Africa for artisans that will benefit the whole of the SADC Region in the water and sanitation sector.
The Department of Water and Sanitation has a long standing working relationship with the Asian country through the Japanese International Co-operation Agency (JICA).
