The funeral service in respect of the late Kgoshi Frans Sefogole Makgeru who served as the Deputy Chairperson of the National House of Traditional Leaders (NHTL) will be held as follows:

Kgosi Sefogole Frans Makgeru passed away on the 28th October 2014. He became Deputy Chairperson of NHTL on 16 August 2012 after having served as a Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Limpopo House of Traditional Leaders for a term respectively.
Condolences to the bereaved Makgeru Royal Family of Marot’a Makgane Traditional Council, the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA), the National House of Traditional Leaders and the Limpopo Provincial House of Traditional Leaders have been received from the Botswana House of Traditional Leaders, University of Ottawa in Canada, Moral Regeneration Movement, Provincial Houses of Traditional Leaders, the Chair in Customary Law of the National Research Foundation (University of Cape Town) and other sectors.
COGTA Deputy Minister responsible for Traditional Affairs Mr Obed Bapela, accompanied by the Premier of Limpopo Provincial Government, Mr Stan Mathabatha, will lead Government representatives at the funeral.
