Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training Mduduzi Manana to attend the Moscow International Education Salon in Moscow, Russia

The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training Mr Mduduzi Manana, MP will honour the invitation of the Minister of Education and Science of the Russia Federation, Dr Dmitry Livanov to attend the Moscow International Education Salon to be held at the Expo Centre, Pavillion 7, Moscow on the 7th to 9th October 2014.

The salon is an extensive international Forum that will embrace leading innovation technologies in the education sphere. The goal of the event is to enhance the access to, and quality of, education through public-private partnership, promoting international best practices that will boost the personal and professional development of individuals.

Deputy Minister Manana and his delegation will meet with South African students who have been awarded scholarships to pursue their studies in the Russia.

He will also visit the Moscow People's Friendship University and meet the Vice-Rector. Other universities offering programmes and courses focusing on Nuclear Technology, Applied Mathematics, Construction and Building Design as well as Aeronautical Engineering will be visited.

A meeting with the South African Ambassador to Russia, H.E. Ambassador Mandisi Mpahlwa, will be held on the sidelines of the International Education Salon.
