Mineral Resources Deputy Minister Godfrey Oliphant will on Saturday, 20 September 2014 facilitate a workshop on Mining Commercial Opportunities in Kuruman, Northern Cape.
The workshop aims to explore practical and operational means of involving the regional commercial businesses within the province in the supply chain processes of the mining companies’ active in Kuruman. This is a critical element of local enterprise development as stipulated in the Mining Charter.
Prior to the workshop, the department will engage with local mining stakeholders regarding applications and queries submitted to the department.
