The Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation, Mr David Mahlobo will, on Wednesday, 23 March 2022, embark on a site visit to Sebokeng Zone 10, to assess progress made to date in the Vaal Intervention Project.
Rand Water, an entity of the Department, was appointed as an implementing agent to stop sewer spillages experienced in Emfuleni Local Municipality. As such, Rand Water has been seized with work in various sites to put an end to sewer spillages in communities and Vaal River.
The site visit is scheduled as follows:
